City of Hickman Demographics
The City of Hickman is the fastest growing community in the State of Nebraska (Lincoln Journal Star) with an estimated population of just over 2,607 (2020 Census) citizens. The median age of our community is just 31.8 years old with the majority being less than 25 years old.
Located in Lancaster County, the City of Hickman is just ten minutes south of Lincoln, Nebraska's state capital. The City is just four miles east of the four-lane U.S. Highway 77 which connects to Interstate 80. The Lincoln Metropolitan Statistical Area consists over just over 300,000 residents and plenty of employment opportunities.
